Newly reduced rent! House to let in Nottingham
November 30, 2007
Great excitement in Nottingham this weekend when the Nottingham Malaysian student games come to the university.
Great excitement too if you are looking for accommodation for rent in Nottingham as we have just reduced the rent on a recently-renovated, carbon-neutral house to let close to Nottingham University, Nottingham Trent and Queens Medical Centre.
The four bedroom house in Lenton would suit either young professionals or students, is well-furnished throughout and the rent has been reduced to just £900 a month until July next year.
It is available now and you can find out more from 0845 230 2288.
Grant Management: property to let in the Midlands
November 23, 2007
Congratulations to Nick, our lettings expert in Birmingham who recently attended and passed a seminar held at Birmingham University. As a result of Nick’s hard word, Grant Management is now an accredited letting agent right across the Midlands.
Here is a photograph of Nick receiving his certificate from the Mayor of Birmingham. Guess which is which.
It’s ok, Nick, we’re just yanking your chain.
Take a look at our latest properties to let from the comfort of your mouse

One of the advantages of the Grant Management online property search is that you can click on an e-tour of many of our houses and flats and take a look around without leaving the computer.
Here’s a flat to rent in the West End of Glasgow for example. Click on that link and you can tour five rooms in the flat, from floor to ceiling, pausing the panorama to imagine how your Degas would look on the living room wall or to check if there is enough room in the kitchen for your valuable collection of novelty corkscrews.
There is a knack to creating this sort of e-tour and we think it involves holding the camera very steady while spinning on your right big toe - but we might be wrong.
Whatever the technique, prospective tenants find the result helps them visualise a flat or house before they visit and then reminds them of the space and lay-out of the property after they have left. Try it yourself - you will find e-tours for properties throughout the UK on the main web site.
Fall schedule: our pre-letting season for rented accommodation
November 1, 2007
It may be autumn, season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, but, guess what, that also means it is time to think of summer, season of new tenancies and properties to let.
On the basis that it is always good to know you have somewhere safe, warm, home-like, ecologically sound and reasonably priced to stay, this is the time of year many people look to sign on the dotted line for 2008. Newcastle tends to be first on the list for re-signs, followed swiftly by Birmingham but Grant Management staff in all the cities will be contacting tenants soon offering them the opportunity to commit to a further lease agreement.
Pre-lets are particularly important for university students who want to secure a house to let for their next academic year - even if they don’t know yet who they want to share with or whether they are likely to pass their exams! The message is get in there quick. It may be too early for Christmas tinsel (though that doesn’t seem to stop Woolworths), but it’s never too soon to think about a roof over your head for 2008.
TV times: another Grant Management tenants competition
October 31, 2007
No wonder these guys look happy. They have just won a digital, HD-ready, wide-screen, do-the-dishes (well, almost) television in our latest Grant Management tenants competition.
All they had to do to was sign their property tenancy papers within seven days of moving in and they were entered into the draw. Next thing they knew, Lynn there was handing over their new TV.
Now all they need to do is work out who is in charge of the remote control. Our money is on the big guy on the right.
Newcastle property rentals team on parade
October 30, 2007

I feel bad about that recent post on the property to let in Newcastle. I mean the property is perfect, it’s just that our Newcastle team were less than flattered by their photos. “Claire and I look like a pair of nutters!” said Katie. I can see what she means. And poor Malcolm was layered in plaster dust.
Just to prove Katie, Claire and Malcolm scrub up nicely and are honestly a credit to Grant Management, here is some recent coverage they received from Accent Magazine. The occasion was an open house evening in Heaton in Newcastle and, in case you don’t have eagle-with-a-pair-of-binoculars-type vision, this is what it says:
Prospective buyers and professionals from the North East’s property scene were invited to view one of Grant Management’s impressive properties in Heaton and enjoy a spot of networking last month. Emily Botham provided a selection of canapes and wine, and tours of the property took place throughout the night. Grant Management also recruited people to act as ambassadors for the company - if ambassadors find someone to take a property, Grant Management will give them £200!
It’s true - we’re nice like that.
It was a great evening and good pictures, even if they have come out a little orange. Maybe it’s me, but do you think they’ve all been Tango’d?
