Back to the gym for her Race for Life

Hot news from the water cooler – or more accurately the bowl of fruit at reception. A mere nine months before she sets off again round Arthur Seat, Anna, who works in our property buying department, is hitting the gym again later today to train for the next Race for Life.
Four of our staff pulled on their trainers In Edinburgh this summer in aid of Cancer Research – you can see the photos on our Flickr page. That’s Anna, number 928 on the right with Colette Grant, one of our directors and co-founder.
It’ll be Anna’s first day back at Ballantine’s gym at Newcraighall this evening where she says her favourite training aid is the rowing machine! Not quite sure how that helps her run round Arthur’s Seat – unless she falls into St Mary’s Loch along the way – but good luck to her. I’ve got a feeling she’ll be round the office looking for sponsorship before too long.
